saw them 3 times at SXSW they are a) unbelievably loud b) unbelievably awesome c) oliver the guitarist knows how to ruin guitars d) just a wee bit good live e) the bassist plays the bass like a rhythm guitar at times

if you like shoegaze / high levels of distortion / brmc or bjm give them a whirl

believe they are going to be some uk shows around may time (nme seem to have jumped on them  ) and ear plugs will be essential. albums out - go buy it.

dead beat live

emo's sxsw

I've Lived My Life to Stand in the Shadow of Your Heart.

to fix the gash in your head

essay. ill be shocked if anyone else likes them bar possibly conic  but still, check erm out

New album is top, I love the build up of noise on the last track.
So make of this what you will, so many little shots in the dark, the same records, the same shoes and a smile that almost broke your heart. Yeah, I'm all for local history. Three things I'll remember: her pasta was shit, she left with a CD still playing, and you, you always threw your arms around me in your sleep.

Can't believe it has taken me this long to give them a proper listen....New album is just so great, booked tickets to see them at Portland Arms in Cambridge(100 capacity) by reading previous comments I may have to invest in some ear plugs

New album finally arrived in the mail yesterday. Damn. So good. I suddenly feel the need to go on a Death by Audio effects pedals spending spree.
