As far as i'm aware the likes of The Button Factory (http://www.thebuttonfactory.ie) , allows for all ages and 14+, we've put on all ages gigs there before

The Village (http://www.thevillagevenue.com) is pretty much the same, sound isn't too bad either.

Ambassador Theatre usually cater for it as well, in that they'll allow 14+ on the ground floor (wristbands given as no drink 'ill be served downstairs) and then over 18s for the balcony. I think that's the way it's working out for the Foals gig tonight come to think of it...

The Academy will occasionally have some, same goes for Whelan's although it's pretty small... Crawdaddy might also be one to check out as well...hmmmm

There's a good load more but i'm currently braindead! i'll give it a think and get back to ya. What sort of venue capacity would you be thinking??

Looks like I might have to look in to some cheap flights to dublin Feb time going by the latest blog on myspace and Steve's request for 14+ venues(can't help with that request)
The one major stumpling block for me not going will be a severe money shortage

if you do decide to head to Dublin let me know if you need help deciding on accom' etc. There's a few good places we used to stay at in dublin that are pretty cheap too - close to the station and all that jazz

Andrews Lane maybe? Great venue in the heart of the city, and great sound from my own personal experience. I think it's pretty much one of dublins most underrated venues actually. One of the organisers for andrews lane is from Seattle too and is huge grunge fan (naturally) So I think he'd be well up for it. The Twisted Pepper might also be an option, although the sound is a little hit and miss and it's not that big. Hmmmmm indeed...
