At Reading Festival I stayed up on/by the barrier after BRS to see Be Your Own Pet, what a set, they were all over the place but it was really entertaining at the same time, sad to see the band call it a day so soon!

One of two bands I've seriously sprained my ankle while dancing to (the other was the Arctic Monkeys "I bet you look good on the Dance floor" at Glasgows ABC club).
Nathan asked me "Do you guys know where I can get some pot?" when I saw them in Dublin a few years ago. Almost as good as when Marky Ramone said "Don't be shy boy come over here and I'll sign your poster!"

The stuff they realeased on that EP before their debut was well bum!

There's a thing in NME this week which I spotted in the contents, where Jemi...the front woman whose name I can't spell properly says that they don't hate each other, time to mature, solo album, other two are doing something FOODFIGHT!

What does 'well bum' mean? Like 'well shit'? or 'well good'?
And in the points between the rain outside and you hanging suspended in the air with the room around you spinning you'll find the time if you need it 2500 miles apart and I never saw you clearer we pray for moments like this little sparks little hits from someone elses god how hanging out of 15 storey windows never felt so relaxing bring on the real fun

Anyone missing them yet?

Jemima's got a solo album (there goes my theory about pregnancy) out, it's leaked to various sites featuring gyrating messiahs.

Ooh, thanks for reminding me about her solo record. I will order it ASAP.

I feel sad that I only got into BYOP a while after they split. I feel like I missed out. :(
