I studied Chemistry, and still went to seven Los Campesinos! gigs in 15 days. It's not exactly hard to find the time around lectures. You just need friends with floors/beds in the right places

Knowing a few pychology students I can just say it's deceptive to the public eye. It's actually a really difficult degree and don't know how some people cope with the workload.

I do Chemistry too and still find the time to go to about 2-3 gigs a week.

though it's quite hard for me to understand someone deciding to study psychology... i have this subject in school only one and a half hour in a week, but everytime i feel like someone filled my head with a huge load of crap afterwards (don't take this personal)!

i mean... is this table a table? or are we just thinking it is a table? maybe it doesn't exist, because we can only see one side of it at the same time; the other side couldn't really be there, we're just expecting it to be...

well... get my point?

i've never had a conversation like the one about the table in psychology.
its a really difficult but interesting subject.

lrr, that table thing's more to do with Philosophy having had a discussion in my class at A-level about the very same thing (well, door ... but yeah).

Philosophy's terrible. I didn't understand at all, barely scraping a C ...

^I agree. Here in france,we do Philosophy in our last high school year8h/week,(when you're in the litterature section) and it's one of most "rated" when we got the final exam.Which is scary

i always meant philosophy, just misread the posts... this actually has NOTHING to do with psychology!
why did i write "psychology" in my post above? i feel slightly embarrassed of my stupidity...

but psychology (and i mean psychology) isn't that much better... i always feel afraid of people studying it due to expecting them for the skills of reading my thoughts

My Pyschology friends can't read my thoughts. Probably a good thing, my mind is a very weird place to be at times.

If my bitch flatmate who does Psychology could read my thoughts, my flat would be so much worse to live in ...
