No Country For Old Men (superb)
Eraserhead (again superb)
If.... (pretty good)
Christmas On Mars (downright bonkers)

All the best films are something traditional with an "On Mars" twist. E.g. - Robinson Crusoe On Mars.

No Country For Old Men was fantastic. Javier Bardem was phenomenal, as were the Coen's. As usual.

I might watch The Italian Job tonight. IN BLU RAY. I'm anxious to see what it's like (Blu Ray, not the film, I already love the film).

So this random guy turns to me during the climax of Transformers 2 while Megan is running for dear life and says "Thank god for slo-mo!"

Confessions of a Shopoholic is a truly awful film. What were Krysten Ritter and Wendie Malick thinking?

Trailer for a new film called Jennifer's Body. Some of you will like it because it's written by Diablo Cody. Others because it's got Megan Fox in. The rest, well, I'm sure I've seen Amanda Seyfried and Kyle Gallner in something before...

Can I rephrase that for you? Some of you will like it because it's written by and Diablo Cody and has 2 VM alumni in (this is the same group). The rest of the (straight) men will like it because it's got Megan Fox in. If you're a girl and hate films/tv programmes about strong-willed women who have babies/solve crimes, then go watch something else...

Watched The Machinist a few days ago. Generally recommended, although Christian Bale is so disturbingly thin. Almost hard to watch at times. The film really reminded of a Haruki Murakami novel. A bit darker, maybe not quite as metaphysical.

Also caught Brüno this past weekend. Exploitative, mean, but f*cking hilarious.

Any film with characters named "Malice in Wonderland", "Iron Maven" and "Smashly Simpson" looks fine with me :ta:

"Celebrate mediocrity, that's fantastic!"

That looks pretty good. I do kinda hope Alia Shawkat's acting has improved though, not that she's not good but I did feel like she was the weak link in Arrested Development.

(500) Days of Summer looks awesome.

Zooey. :wuv:
So make of this what you will, so many little shots in the dark, the same records, the same shoes and a smile that almost broke your heart. Yeah, I'm all for local history. Three things I'll remember: her pasta was shit, she left with a CD still playing, and you, you always threw your arms around me in your sleep.
