Be thankful you weren't at St Andrews on Saturday. One of the dullest games I have ever witnessed, at least when you watch a game on the TV you can turn it off, I was stuck there having shelled out 35 quid for the privilege. Rory Delap's throws look even more impressive in the flesh, the guy chucks em out like a missile.

Emjoy it whilst you can, before Lamchop starts wrecking morale within the squad, and wnadering off at the first 'better' offer.

Football is cruel.

That said, Barry Ferguson is looking surprisingly good thus far.

I genuinely hope he sticks in down there, considering he was right on the verge of chucking the game altogether after Boozgate.

In other news, I love Ibrox more with each passing game, although I do wish we could keep a clean sheet for once. Highlight of the day was Marvin Andrews receiving a hero's welcome on his return, something I've never really seen for an ex-player on the opposing side since I've had my season ticket.
So make of this what you will, so many little shots in the dark, the same records, the same shoes and a smile that almost broke your heart. Yeah, I'm all for local history. Three things I'll remember: her pasta was shit, she left with a CD still playing, and you, you always threw your arms around me in your sleep.

Adebayor is an absolute disgrace. An utterly cowardly thing to do stamping on someone when they're on the ground. His resentment towards Arsenal supporters is something I don't really get.

as much as ade was a complete watermelon, i do like how van persie seems to have got off scot free considering his tackle directly before the head stamp was unbelievably dirty

Bad tackle, sure. But the stomp and the goal celebration were totally unprofessional. The only thing saving Adebayor (for now) is that he did apologize right after the match.

Watermelon?

sounds like he got racially abused by some arsenal fans aswell, so if thats the case as well - cant blame him at all for what he did

also, i hope he hammer tottenham next weekend, that should see the 'tottenham season graph' appear again online

I'm not gonna try and claim us Gills fans are innocent, sitting in the Rainham End when I can we always give some stick to the opposition keeper. Usually they ignore it (or in the case of the 18 year old Exeter keeper making his league debut, get so traumatised that he doesn't go anywhere near us - if you're wearing a kit that looks like this, it's expected) but towards the end of last season the Dagenham and Redbridge keeper started acknowledging our friendly banter, playing up to the crowd. Net result was when he was unfortunately carried off 2 minutes from time, he got an ovation from our fans too.

There's ramming it back down people's throats, and there's handling it with dignity.

Gotcha; the eternal n00b, nevermind me. That said, in the States, the association of watermelons with blacks has very racist overtones. I'm certainly not accusing anyone of this, but it's one of those things that sets off a red flag among many Americans.

Well said. If there was any sort of racist comments, shouts, chants or threats, he should have reported it to the match officials. You want to see passion in your players, sure, but he's gotta know it was a hot situation and taunting them back was asking for some real potential trouble. Seriously, does the FA not require clubs to instruct their players on properly handling abuse from the "fans" in the stands (keep your cool, report it, etc.)?

Side note, my local club, the Harrisburg City Islanders', supporters group is actually called the Hecklers. Matches are *very* family friendly, so it's usually all done in fun (at least until the free beer runs out).

Dyno-Rod, eh? Someone feels the need to brag....

Man City complaining about too much injury time in an important match? I'm sure if they were to benefit from a late goal 6 minutes into injury time they'd petition for it to be disallowed and the result minus that goal to stand, wouldn't they?

To be fair, I needed someone in the F365 Mailbox to point it out to me, too.

It seems Norwich did a Man Yoo on us today. 5 minutes of injury time originally displayed, inexplicably, and then Norwich score the equaliser on 90'+7. Two points go bye bye :(
