Two things I've changed while drunkenly fiddling about with the admin panel.

Firstly, if you go to http://bloodredshoes.freeforums.org/ you will be redirected to your user portal - try it now, have a look, and let me know what you think. Like the chat box, I'll remove it if enough people don't like it/it's raping my bandwidth on my phone.

Secondly, and I expect this to be something that people don't notice until they read this and say "oh yeah..." - I've got rid of adverts for a month.

Any thoughts and comments are welcome.

I like the front page thing.

As for the adverts, they didn't bother me that much, and if they did, people don't have to click on them, do they? So really, I don't think it's necessary to have them off, especially as it's not something people would notice.

user portal looked ok for me, although on "friends" box, I sweared I put James, Katy and Rob on friend list (I am pretty sure its do with "friends/foes" bit) but it said no friends online, while on "who is online" box, all of you are online that confused me

also the board work better without ads

James, while you're at it making changes and what not, is there any chance you could make the number of characters available for signatures more? Like around 400, so I can fit in the whole of Alexei's monologue from Salt, Pepper And Spinderella ? Pretty please? I'll make it worth your while

I found my way here in the end though. I'm gonna fiddle about with that portal thing a bit now.

I'm liking the blue, although thanks to Firefox the other 2 have no effect on me.

EDIT: Ok, now the blue's gone

The blue is just due to it loading slowly/incompletely.

I'm not too fond of the front page thing, but then again I don't really mind it either since I bookmarked the page with a link that ends with /index, so...

And I second what ollib says about the ads. yay for them being gone but they didn't bother me before.
