Update on my chances of going (mostly @ petra). I'm off to work in a bit and then I'll try to get rid of my shift on sunday. If so, I'm in.

Just returned from Düsseldorf. This was fucking great, although I really don't like Maximo Park (just listened to three songs and decided to go home). Laura-Mary and Steven played a lot of new songs! Damn, I want to have the new album right now. I have also had a nice talk with Steven at the merch store. Maybe one reason why I have bought a very nice bag, a loveley vinyl single and a cool black shirt from the band. Last but not least a special thanks to the hand full of people who made rock 'n' roll in front of stage ...

Details, details! What shirt, vinyl, bag? And which new songs?

They played all of their new songs, which is all the ones we've heard so far plus a new one, but I didn't catch that one's name. I have a recording of it though and will upload asap. In fact they played nothing but new songs aside from I Wish I Was Someone Better. I love them so friggin much for this, you have no clue

Random: The people behind me all thought Friendly Fires were supporting, oh the hilarity. "I didn't know they had a girl as well??? They sound nothing like they do on record!"


PS: They sold the babydoll shirt and the one with the hand and scissor... thingy. The bag with the cake and the headless bride and the This Is Not For You 7".

So I'm going home and spending the weekend with tea in bed instead of going to Berlin.

Well, let's now look forward to a proper tour.

That's actually my friend's recording cause mine turned out kinda dodgy. Smart me going "GET YOUR CAMERA OUT BITCH, I NEED THIS" at him after half a second
