Ha i know, i've already had this talk from others, i'm ashamed at my ignorance. got to see them at the hope farm fest a couple of weeks ago, immediately ordered the cd when i got home. very much looking forward to the garage at the end of sept :ta:

The Joy Formidable @ Pure Groove Friday 11th September - 7.30pm..

Saw them again Saturday at Summer Sundae festival.......Great performance as usual even thou Ritzy got told to turn down her amp at one point by soundman.

Wondered if anyone here was at SS. I heard TJF, as we left just after 4pm on the Saturday. They sounded good, though I should see them in October :)

Really looking forward to Garage on Weds......Quite like the sound of Little Death as well.

Road trip booked for Germany so will see them in Frankfurt and Cologne and also a little Euro tunnel trip to Paris is planned......Who cares about the exchange rate(me when I realise I'm really broke come Christmas)

Another great Joy Formidable performance :clap: ....They played 2 new new songs which I've been told are called THE MAGNIFYING GLASS and A HEAVY ABACUS,the 4th song played which was one as these was just so good....seeing them 5 more times before the end on the year. :D

Finally got my copy of the album and nifty t-shirt in the mail yesterday, and on the day before my birthday. Nice timing I suppose. Such a perfect little CD....

Played a great set again supporting The Editors in Norwich Sunday(a home gig for me for a change)..next week it's Koko supporting Passion Pit...then some European dates 2 in Germany Frankfurt and Koln followed by a later trip to Paris, An added bonus is an extra date they are doing in Norwich(again :D ) on Dec 11th....that will be 17 times for the year(may even be more times than Rob,then again maybe not)
