Judging from your pics I must've been right behind you. I'm uploading the few pics I have now.

I didn't take that many pictures. I was enjoying the gig far too much to be bothered with my camera. I was bothered to get this though:

God I look right a right arse in that pic.

Spot on! I've chatted to them a few times and got Ritz to sign posters and things but never got a picture, always felt a bit shy to ask. You going to any others on this tour? I don't think we will be, but will probs go the one in London in Sept.

Unfortunately, my exams have curbed going to any gigs outside of manchester atm (I'll have to miss Birmingham which is one of the easiest places for me to go to for gigs. Gutted) and the tour dates after my exam are all down south so I can't get to them easily in the first place. They'll probably tour again before the years out anyway.

Cracking gig at Borderline last night..great to see them play to sellout crowd as they fully deserve it..
Loved the 2 new tracks, although I confess I had already heard them as a kind person had recorded an earlier date on the tour and posted a link.
set list was
1. Whirring
2. Cradle
2. The Last Drop
4. Spectrum
5. Ostrich
6. Anemone
7. Greystyle
8. Austere
9. The Greatest Light Is The Greatest Shade
encore
While The Flies.

Doing it all again tonight with a trip to Cambridge

A live radio session is promised this Wednesday. BBC 2 at 8pm-Stuart Maconie & Mark Radcliffe. Should be fun.

Here's mp3s of the Derby gig I recorded

http://www.sendspace.com/file/mnlc96

and the Birmingham gig

http://www.sendspace.com/file/3uaqz4

Both recordings are pretty decent, similar sort of quality to the BRS Birmingham show I posted here last year.

Both contain the two new songs. Recordings of York and The Borderline are circulating and Liverpool was taped as well (and there's another version of Derby as well). So they are being heavily stalked by the UK taping community which is great!

Recognise a lot of the names here from TJF board, so some of you probably already have the above recordings.

There's an audience shot DVD of the full York gig on Dime and a couple of other smaller DVD (Leeds May/Manchester March and Derby/Brum). All pretty watchable, but too big to circulate other than by bittorrent I'm afraid.

I also taped them in Brum supporting the Howling Bells in March but don't have those as mp3s at the moment. Will happily sort that and upload that as well if anyone wants it.

Here's the March gig supporting Howling Bells at Birmingham Barfly as mp3s in a zip file - this is probably the best of the three recordings from memory.

http://www.sendspace.com/file/erqbwg

I was too keen to get a good viewing spot at the recent Derby and Brum shows, so wasn't in a great spot for taping (although they still came out OK).

I was blown away by them when I saw them at the Barfly gig. Howling Bells, Joy Formidable and Chew Lips for a tenner, it was great stuff.

excellent radio session last night. "Whirring" (new bass less arrangement), new epic track "Greyhounds in the slip", and a very different version of "While the flies".

Bit hissy I'm afraid, but good to hear one of the new songs.

And here's a DVB-T version as mp2s
