What to people think of these guys..Have liked there stuff for quite a while but always seem to miss them live when they play locally.
Hopefully that will change next week as they are playing in Norwich and they also have an album out next month which I may have to buy.

Saw them at Latitude.
Although the girl was wearing a rocking black lace dress.
That was the best bit of their set.

Actually I think these are a most impressive band. I saw them locally to me on the basis of fairly 'twee and pleasant' stuff on myspace - and wow, live they just rocked. Excellent 'wall of feedback' thing going on, they were totally into it, drums kicked off the stage et al. Have now seen them a couple of times live and on both occasions they completely wound themselves up and at least one number ends up with Ritzy (the singer in the cute dress) on her hands and knees over the effects pedals. If you go on their myspace there are links to free downloads.
Everyone (that is various blogs and the NME) have them down as one of the next big things. Personally I think that will work out, especially if they can get a few more songs in the set.
Hope you enjoy them in Norwich, I like them enough to be trogging over to Liverpool and Manchester to see them in the next few weeks
here's a link to recent live stuff

I've removed one post and edited another in this thread, as people only seem to want the "Band X are shit" thread rule invoked when someone is dissing one of their bands, but want to be able to say whatever they like about bands they don't like.

Erm. I wasn't slagging them off. I was merely giving my opinion, having seen them live.

How is "Pretty unimpressive" in anyway offensive or whatever?
I didn't think they were shit. But for all the hype I've heard, such as Cradle being someone's song of 2008, they really weren't that great either.

As per the "Band X" thread:

Gettit? Slag off bands in here rather than finding the thread devoted to them and doing it there.

Hopefully this will leave the other topics for people who like the bands.

Rather than having a massive list of rules for this place, there are 3. No official BRS mp3s, keep negative band comments to the designated thread, and don't insult others. It's not a heavily governed forum, but I'll treat everyone the same whether I've known them for four years or two days. I don't want it to go back to the situation we had before, where people were too scared to post that they liked a certain band in case they got shouted down. I want to bake a cake full of rainbows and smiles and everyone would eat and be happy.

Before I was so harshly censored. I mentioned the dress the girl wore at Latitude,
