more UK and european festival news soon...

Postby JeppeRobert on Sat Apr 18, 2009 3:17 pm

Hello there - I have been following this board for a while now, and decided it was time I Finally started posting.

The latast news post on the BRS side ends with the line "more UK and european festival news soon..."
There must be some rumors or something :) (but I dont know if there is some rule that we may not talk about such things here?)

I have a final exam in school on the monday following the hurricane gig, and will not be able to go to that festival. But it's so far the only BRS gig announced that is close to Denmark.

There's also this German festival, somewhere in July. Can't remember the name right now, but Disco Ensemble are playing there too. It's pretty much in the north/west of German, close to the Dutch border, I'm considering going too. That's somehow close to Denmark, maybe even closer than Hurricane? I don't have a clue where Hurricane takes place really.

Myself, I'm still crossing my fingers for Pukkelpop, or some things like de Affaire.

Hurricane is just outside of Hamburg, and Traintickets to Hamburg are really cheap compared to the transport to the Omas Teich festival (I believe that's the one you were talking aobut).

I was a little dissapointed when Roskilde didn't announce BRS along with the 150 other bands last thursday. But that festival still needs 25 more names on the poster.

it'd be awesome to see them at Stengade 30 or even Loppen in CPH :) they had to cancel Scandinavian dates last year; exhaustion or something?

Great gig at De Affaire Festival. Their show started late and from the 60 min they were scheduled to play they only played 40/45 min. Nevertheless it was fabulous. Too bad we had the 'mercury prize session crowd'. Standing still most of the time except during 'I wish'. Had a great time anyway . Up to the next gig..

Setlist:
01. Boring By The Sea
02. Count Me Out
03. You Bring Me Down
04. Wheeze
05. Say Something, Say Anything
06. Fade To Grey
07. This Is Not For You
08. Don't Ask
09. I Wish I Was Someone Better
10. (Encore)
11. It Is Happening Again
