One of my favourite bands... The Remote Part soundtracked my college years, and A Modern Way of Letting Go is probably in my top 5 favourite songs ever. TRP, 100 Broken Windows and Hope is Important are amazing albums. Unfortunately they've gone a bit rubbish since then but the early stuff is genius, utter genius.

The Remote Part is fucking gold. I saw them a few years back and it was marvellous. One of the first proper gig I went to (except Deep Purple).

I saw them on their Warnings/Promises tour a few years ago. That's the only album of theirs I've got in to. 'You Held The World In Your Arms' is my favourite song by them though.

I don't know how old this is, but they have a track called The Weight of Years on their myspace and it's fantastic. Admittedly that's coming from an unashamed folkie like myself, but still. It could be from Roddy's supposed second solo album?
