I meant to say room for blagging in Physics.

Oops lol, yeah, that's why I prefer physics, because you CAN'T blag in chemistry ha.

Makes more sense.

Ah tht does make more sense now. Cos honestly, there's no room for blagging at all. Everything you learn is generally considered hard fact and the theory that works and you can't say different to it.

Unless you get into Physical Chemistry but that's a whole different and mind-numbing story entirely.

I hate Physical Chemistry.

Do I want to ask what that is? lol.

At least it's not biology.

I don't like it, but I'm good at it.

With literally no effort, I got an A* last year.. What could I acheive if I tried...

No-one wants to know what Physical Chemsitry is, not even Physical Chemists. All other chemists laugh at them.

I was also reading up on that whilst reading the universe section through Wiki. I then started looking up stuff on supermassive black holes Bose Einstein condensation, and various other topics relating to a forth state of matter until I felt my brain start to bleed!

Here's something I learned today. If you were to take a teaspoon sized sample from a neutron star you'd need a fork lift to pick it up! How Kele could structure a song around that now I don't know, but it would be an interesting direction to take his songwritting don't you think?

I bet he watches The Sky at Night. I know I do, but I'm lonely and have and have no friends.

I love that sort of stuff. If I'd taken physic's for my degree I would've loved learning about that stuff.

I also regret not taking an optional module in some astonomy stff in my first year. It sounded like a well ace module.

Science rocks. There's no two ways about it really. I'd love to have a career involving science but wouldn't even know where to begin to be honest. It does get kinda scary though, it makes me feel so small, but oddly devine in some ways. Everything that's around us including Bloc Party (just trying to stay on topic here) all came from one singularity. There was absolute notthingness, and then in the blink of an eye EVERYTHING! How can anyone not find that fascinating?

Well I wouldn't mind placing Matt Bellamy in the centre of one if that's what you mean?

It honestly hasn't got me yet. Haven't listened to it a lot though. I'm going to. I want to like it. It has potential.

The only thing I dislike about the song is the video for it. Bloc Party are kinda making the same mistake as Green Day in my opinion (Wake me up when September ends). The Song is in no way political, and yet the video attempts to make some sort of semi-obscure political statement about the US presidential election system..........or sumfink?!

I think it's tripe to be perfectly honest, and maybe just a bit lazy on the bands part. I'm also sick to death of all this America bashing by bands. Bla bla bleh! They elected a moron as their head of state, GET OVER IT ALREADY! It's just gotten so trite. And why now, when he's got less than a year left in office? Videos don't generally matter to me, they're unimportant really in the broader scheme of things, but for a band that pride themselves on being so original and inspiring (Mercury being a strong example) this really is just a load of pants!

It used to be punk to be against all the establishment and against all of that, but so many people are doing it, it's almost punk to love the government. It's like Johnny Rotten (who is a pram because he beat the shit out of Kele). Everyone was all "You sell-out prick!" but in a way, it was so punk to not sell-out, that it was almost more punk to sell out.

Anyone?

There's no such thing as punk anymore anyways.
Whatever you do someone is going to accuse you of selling out or whatever. So it's best to just do what you want and ignore everyone else.
:)

I was dancing madly to Bloc Party the other night. I need to listen to them more :)

£1,000,000, four album deal (whatever that actually means) in the UK.

Clearly it all depends what you mean by "punk".

oh so earning money from your job and getting on in life can not be punk. so you have to earn nothing then retire to an office job to think about the good old days when you were in a punk band.
