EEEEEE! The Coral! Johnny Flynn!

Do you know if it's full proper Coral or acoustic? I think they're turning into Ocean Colour Scene Wink

its acoustic - since billy ryder jones left, they've just been sticking with that sides of things until they get everything sorted.

eeee! Cheers.

More clashes though! Errors vs. Franz Ferdinand. I very much prefer Errors, but I'm not likely to get the opportunity to see Franz Ferdinand very often.

Intriguing *strokes beard*

JoFo on the Sunday? Just that they're down to play Truck in Oxford on that day, and also Lovebox in London the day before, according to their myface.

Tim and Sam's Tim and Sam band are rather good, I believe.

This festival is going to break my heart with clashes.

But it's Death Cab or die. Myself and Oliver are agreed on this.

MASSIVE RUBBISHNESS

M.I.A isn't playing anymore. Due to poor health the website said.

Crap crap face.

Anyway, http://www.metcheck.com/V40/UK/FREE/event_forecast.asp?eventID=782

Weather forecast specifically for Latitude. Says no rain atm. Sunniness.

Let's hope it stays that way.

:S really? She's someone I really want to see live, having never done.

Edit: Just looked on NME.com, stuff about her being knackered. She called Bonnaroo her last show though Sad

Hope it's a Patrick Wolf kind of retirement as opposed to a proper, never again one...

The forecast now says it will piss it down on Friday Confused
I think it should be taken with a pinch of salt though.

At least I'm going to not believe it will rain until I'm actually getting wet.

I'm going to have to sell my weekend ticket Sad I really can't afford to go at all, and I need time to sort my life out here.

I'll put it on ebay later today for face value plus booking fee (plus special delivery postage), but if anyone gets back to me on here I'll let you have it for just face plus special delivery (£130 plus about a fiver for the next day delivery).

PM me if you're interested.

'twas good. Sigur Ros were a bit special on Saturday. As were Interpol on Sunday. But I think The Go! Team were my favourite band of the weekend. Along with Sky Larkin (who were a bit too good on Saturday) and Elbow. Saturday from 4.20 onwards was shit hot, though. The Little Ones, The Coral (they weren't really acoustic at all), Seasick Steve, Sky Larkin, Elbow and Sigur Ros back-to-back was one of the best runs of bands I've seen at a festival.

Other than the usual complaints I have after festivals (toilets, the fact you have to camp, loud people at night, toilets), the only moans I have that they could do something about is that the comedy tent is too small, as the crowd overflowed from it for most of the day, they should really think of banning smoking in the tents (I thought it was, to be honest. But apparently not, and I wasn't going to sit in a packed tent and have some tit blow smoke in my face for the duration of Omid Djali) and look at the sound, because when you were nearish the back watching the main stage you could hear either the Comedy or the Uncut Arena in the background. Most notably, hearing the bass and drums from Mars Volta throughout most of Sigur Ros being awe inspiring.

But still, the music was ace.

Sigur Rós was brilliant isn't it, confetti falling while they were playing Festival is so touchy and left me absolutely speechless.

And yes agree on The Coral, bar Spainish Main or maybe Simon Diamond it wasn't really acoustic set.

Me Chunk and Gill were spending most of the time at Comedy tent on saturday (we only went for one day), Uncut arena and main stage. That was first time I tried Comedy tent and I really loved it, Jon Richardson was great, so was Bill Bailey and Tim Minchin but some jokes from Jon Richardson were just classic
