i was wondering, whether i should buy a ticket for a FF club-concert, but now...
blood red shoes and FF definitely made my decision of visiting the hurricane! i was a bit dissappointed when i saw the line-up at first (Die Ärzte and a few other german bands, i don't really like), but i've got to see the BRS and Kings of Leon!

If u guys want to have plenty of time to go to BRS, just do as I do:

Study Communication Sciences at Ghent University (Belgium): every week 15 hours max lessons + 3 months summer break.

Is it common that the bands performing at the kick off party [Wien] also play the normal Nova Rock Festival?

any idea where to get tickets for the vienna-nova-rock-most-people-will-just-be-getting-drunk-in-the-brewery thing? there were some links on both last.fm event pages, but there's no info on the websites linked.

Doesn't change the fact I am still planning to go as my other favourite band [Guano Apes] re-united for some festival shows and I am trying to see them as much as possible.

Would have been mental if both bands would play same festival, but maybe I get lucky with some other festivals (Southside/Hurrincane?).

just discovered in another forum that there will be a BRS tour in september/october 2009... according to a student who spoke to steven after the recent berlin-gig!

They should do Prague finally. They were asked actually (maybe more than once, what do I know...) but had no time. I believe the people will ask them again. Or I'll do! (gimme money, gimme a venue and I'm on my way!)

pukkelpop and breda barst festivals announced
alright so we have some more festivals appearing in our diary which is nice. this time it's in belgium and the netherlands....

pukkelpop - friday 21st august, we headline a tent (forgot the name tho, sorry) - it's also the same day the jesus lizard are playing and i just saw them last night and it was utterly brutally fucking proper so this will probably be the coolest festival in history. plus this time you don't get metallica's bullshit you get MBV headlining the night before.

breda barst - sunday 20th sept, this is a cool free festival in breda, holland, we played the town on tour before and it was fun, this should be cooler since anyone can get in if they can travel over. not sure who else is playing it yet tho.


we have a few more UK festivals that we're trying to force ourselves upon for fun, news on that if it works out. plus we're gonna start sticking up some video updates of the new album's progress.
