There's a tour going to be announced soon as well, for mid-late March. I only know because there's a date at Thekla which I saw the other day on the website.

I just saw the tour dates on teletext, it's only about five dates. Can't remember them now though.

I found this on the internet...

Highly sophisticated and intelligent interviewer wrote:The Duke Spirit have released an official statement whilst in a highly intelligent and sophisticated interview, (categorically NOT conducted on a milk crate, in a laundry room, on a swaying boat) that admits to their persons housing their ketchup in the unnatural environement of the arctic fridge. When reprimanded for this shameful behaviour, they released a further statement saying

The Duke Spirit wrote:"Is that not right?"

As a result of this quote, and despite a slightly fabulous subsequent live performance, said sophisticated and intelligent interviewer refuses to endorse and/or be affiliated in anyway with said fridge-ketchup vermin.*

Interesting read. huh?

*Categorically not made up. Entirely factual interview. Copies available once actors have been procured for voice indentity protection.

Astoria? That has to be the old Mean Fiddler (ie Astoria 2) doesn't it?
I've finally seen the distance between us,
the static I feel when I cannot reach you.

Due to th lack of a Duke Spirit forum online, I'm really quite tempted to make one myself. How easy is it to make a forum via free forums or similar site?

Currently trying to make a forum for them. I'll post a link when I'm happy with what I've got thus far.

9th Duke Spirit gig in Leeds tonight. It was aceness as usual.

Also, THEY PLAYED STUBBORN STITCHES!!

I was so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so soooooooo happy they played it. I've not heard it live since 2005!

I got yet another setlist, yet another poster and another t-shirt.

I spoke to Leila Moss and said I'll be seeing them in manchester as well. And that it'd be my 10th Duke Spirit gig. She was very impressed. So impressed she wrote this on the back of a limited poster and gave it to me:

I'm a very happy bunny.

LOVE the Duke Spirit. Heard "The Step And The Walk" on one of our digital cable's music channels before that TV died (the only other TV that I can watch doesn't get those channels *pout*), and loved it instantly. Neptune is an awesome CD, but I don't have any others.
