Miley Cyrus is fucking younger than I am. And I am used to being the youngest, so she makes me feel old.

The bulb in my kitchen light blew so I couldn't see to cook dinner. Dinner very quickly became a curry, which I ordered at 8:30. I'm still waiting for the bloody thing. Apparently it's "on it's way". The restaurant is 30 seconds away, and if it's been on it's way since it was due at 9:15 it's going to be cold by now.

I feel like a horrible 16 year old (or worse, 14 year old) brainless groupie, but Alex Turner's so mindblowingly mesmerizing. On the good side, my adoration is (ok, tbh, nearly) only about his musical skills. And on his good side, he's pretty much the only guy who can fascinate me like that. Oh how I could continue talking about him/them forever.

Auntie Petra is here! great time so far. Well, I'm still hangover from last night (and sleeping during a lecture is well nice),and I'm at work while she and Kaki are exploring the city. Mew tonight!!!

This entire page (402) of this thread has had me in hysterics.

I'm having a very relaxing day today. My supervisor doesn't want me to start my next reaction in labs unless he or his PhD is available to assist me. I've started and made progress on my Literature Review for this project too which pleases me. + I understand my lectures which makes a nice change.

Damn, uni's going great at the moment!

Also, thanks to some drunken texts (not from me) I appear to have volunteered to dj for Petra's birthday in Paris next year. This sounds like a good idea to me.

I spent the entire year 2007 worshiping him. Well, kinda. And I still have that old habit, that one part of my heart says: "OMG IT'S ALEX TURNERRRRR!!!" and another part of my heart says: "wtffff are you doing, you are OVER it, remember?" and then that first part of my heart says "oh, alright, just for old times sake, yeah?"

I will never ever idolize any musician like that again. And I'll never be 15 again. I DO FEEL OLD!

First that Miley Cyrus thing and now feeling nostalgic over being 15.

Worshipping Miley Cyrus is far worse than worshipping Alex Turner, in my opinion and by law.

And well, I agree with above. I'll never idolize anyone like him, I guess, and I'll never stop adoring him just for what he did so far already. Unless, perhaps, if he changes his life's destination and grows old determined continuing being a big rockstar even though he has Alzheimer's disease and turns into a sad caricature of the half-god he used to be. But that's not my realistic idea for the future, obviously. Maybe it's my luck that I have no intentions or desires about sleeping with him or being the love of his life or whatever, which might make it easier to just adore him as a musician (but I'm pretty sure he could be a nice guy to hang out with, too). Up until now he hasn't done anything that made me doubt him being an absolute genius, on the contrary, so I don't see this changing anytime soon. It'll probably only get worse, poor me. LOOK WHAT THE BASTARD IS MAKING ME ACT UTTERLY INSANE.
