It really is superb, not your typical romcom at all.

Anyways the last film I saw was Inglourious Basterds, and despite not being a fan of Tarantino I thought it was fantastic. Brad Pitt is always at his best in comedy roles and the scene where he's speaking Italian in that southern accent is eyewateringly funny, but Christoph Waltz absolutely stole the show as Hans Landa. The tension in the first scene was all down to him, and it'll be an injustice if he doesn't win an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor next year.
So make of this what you will, so many little shots in the dark, the same records, the same shoes and a smile that almost broke your heart. Yeah, I'm all for local history. Three things I'll remember: her pasta was shit, she left with a CD still playing, and you, you always threw your arms around me in your sleep.

yaaayyy saw (500) days of summer last night. :wuv:
Like Derek said, not a romcom. Well, not the typical US romcom. More like your last relationship I'd say.
Soundtrack is seriously awesome too (Pixies-covered by Joseph Gordon Levitt :wuv: , Regina Spektor :wuv:...THE SMITHS :wuv: )

that movie will be part of my 'year in lists', for sure.

Watched Synecdoche: New York.

I really don't know what to say. It' long (over 2 hours), weird, dreamy and depressive. And WEIRD. But I think I like it. I just can't understand how all this came from one man's (Charlie Kaufman's to be exact) mind. He must be crazy or very VERY suicidal.

Anyone seen Toy Story 3D? I was supposed to be seeing it on Friday night but had a birthday party to go to instead.

I can't wait til Toy Story 3 comes out. At 22, I feel I'm a bit old for it, but at the same time I can get away with it because I was young enough the first time.

I finally saw (500) Days Of Summer and it had only lasted 2 minutes and I already knew I loved it when the main character had the same Joy Division t-shirt as I do and Regina Spektor was playing. Loveable.
