Re: heroes volume 3 : spoiler-centric (you were warned!)

It really is a bit of a mindfuck. And getting my head round the Peter/Weevil who is really who thing is going to be confusing. I can't wait for next week. I assume there wasn't anything worth watching in the "preview" thing? I watched the first ten minutes and it seemed awful/pointless so ...

Re: Telly shows!

Not sure if it's been said, but Heroes starts on the BBC on the 1st October at 9pm, with the second episode at 10pm on BBC3. But there's also a 45 minutes "preview" on Friday at 9pm on BBC Three.

Re: Ajax Chat/News box

Can it be moved? Perhaps to the bottom?

I don't think it will use much resources, it's just annoying to have to scroll down on every page to see any content.

Don't you just open the .dot file (I believe normal.dot is the default one) as you'd just open a normal file?

Re: It's the end of the world! We're all doomed! Doomed!

Some say that all that end of the world stuff is a clever PR trick, so more people would be interested in physics. nah, I don't think it is that. Every time I've seen scientists being interviewed and the "is the world going to end?" question has been brought up they've always seemed sick ...

You can't really blame the media on the actions of a retard.

Shouldn't the media avoid reporting things in a way that could seriously affect the vulnerable?

Did you know that Georgia had the third biggest army in Iraq befor their own war? aah, I didn't know that. I knew they had troops there that the Americans helped to pull out when ...

Re: Random thread

That's good :) Was it a letter from British Gas or had the debt been passed on to a debt collector? I always ignored debt collector letters unless they had a freephone number to call. Although I never had anything threatening to cut off supplies!
