i'm kinda confused about where to put this.
but this will do right?

so i saw this on youtube
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ptsKEgkfms

and i'm wondering which song this is.
is it 'wheeze' as it was listed here?
only heard it twice, but i think it's an amazing song.
does anybody know if the 'echoing' is on purpose or just bad sound quality or something?

Well, I think this clip more or less confirms the more varied and dynamic sound in store for album two. It seems kinda psychedelic...but without being a cliched, '60's imitation.

And the echo effect, I believe, is intentional. All the other sounds--drums, guitar--would have to have the same effect for it to be a glitch. I'm guessing, at least for this track, Steven had some sort of echo or delay effect running through his mic line that could be switched on for this song. I think there was a post not long ago in which BRS said they acquired some new toys for stage and studio.

I *think* that was the big massive sounding one they ended with which didn't have a name at Southend... It kinda sounded like Hope You Are Holding Up in places because of the big massiveness. Steve will probably prove me wrong though.
Thanks for finding that video :)

compared to the setlist of the latest gigs, it had to be wheeze or that 'end'-song. others i've heard, but i figured this one had kind of a wheezy vibe to it, whatever that may mean. and well, you dont see them walking off stage or anything, so i ruled out this being the last song. but thats perhaps a bit too much of my own imagination.

i also think/hope the echo-thing is intentional, cause it's indeed only in the vocals, and only for a particulair part. but i thought maybe people who were at the gig would know better. it's an awesome sound, so i'm hoping this gives us some indication of the 'new style', or whatever yr calling it.

i also really like the 'ahh ahh ahh ahh' parts throughout the song, amazing use of their different vocals, i love how they combine those contradicting sounds. it's so typical BRS-sounding, but also very different, and in my opinion progressive, from stuff they did before. i'm getting more and more excited.

I think the echo is intentional, although I'm sure Steve will happily contradict me :) and I'm almost certain it's "End".

yeh the echo is intentional, we wanted to make it a bit trippy. btw none of the song names are real they're just working titles! kinda nervy that these have shown up online i thought we'd got away with it. bummer you can't hear the guitar more.

Even if they're just working titles, it's easier to give it some name that just call it song #3. And it's just great to hear some new stuff, youtube ftw. Are these just random new songs you check out or serieous second album potentials?
