Telly shows!

Postby alittlelost on Wed May 14, 2008 10:16 pm

I'm obviously starting this to avoid studying the night before my Spanish exam.

Starting a thread for every single show I ever recommended to Jack would be too hardcore, so this will have to do.

Sooooo, what's your favorite?

Doctor Who, Reaper, Scrubs ;)

Red Dwarf, QI, Have I Got News For You, QI, Black Adder, Black Books, Charlie Brooker's Screen Wipe, Coupling, Father Ted, Heroes, Lead Balloon, Mock The Week, My Family (early), Never Mind The Buzzcocks, Peep Show, South Park (at times), Veronica Mars.

I started off listing them off the top of my head, then I just went to my TV programmes folder on my hard drive.
I've finally seen the distance between us,
the static I feel when I cannot reach you.

Yo :P

Dexter, Chuck, Simpsons, Nip/Tuck, Friends, Life on Mars, Californication, Pushing Daisies, Dirty Sexy Money, Desperate Housewives, Supernatural (though I'm really behind).

That's all I can think of right now.

Futurama, Family Guy, House MD, My name is Earl, Mythbusters, The Big Bang Theory... and so on.

I started watching it on a trip in March and I even watched the whole live show, but I still haven't downloaded the actual show. I do see why people love Noel though, I really do.

I get it too. I got it when I saw him for the very frts time as Richmond in the IT Crowd - and I knew more as I started with TMB.

Watch it. And you have to love the Moon.

Noel Fielding (along with Jeremy Clarkson) is someone who I wish I could dislike, but I just can't bring myself to.

I do quite like the Mighty Boosh. But it always seems like there's something missing? I don't know. It's the kind of thing that I'd watch (and do watch) if it's on, but I wouldn't (and didn't) make a special effort to watch it each week when a series is on.

We don't have BBCs here, I had to download 1st and 2nd season and my friend gave the 3rd on DVD. I usually watch it all day.

Finally! Someone else does still watch it then :) The new series has been amazing so far... that Desmond time travel episode was ace.

lorzy48 wrote:pretty much any cookery show

Masterchef > any other cookery show. It's mainly just the fat bald one and the fat half human/half chin Aussie (?) one shouting over the top of each other about HOW EXCITING MASTERCHEF IS, but it's still great.

Other stuff I like: Alan Partridge, Doctor Who, Garth Marenghi's Darkplace (as ye can tell by my avatar), Arrested Development, The Apprentice, The Day Today... and more.

Coupling! Of course, I knew I'd forget something. Only until Jeff left though.
