Between now and then, I'll have to listen to all the Subways material I can.

Just I can't be bothered really. I didn't go to KOKO the other week. Not because I was doing anything else, just because there were other things I'd rather spend money going into town on. If anything I'd be more likely to travel somewhere else using the gig as an excuse to go exploring (like I did when I went to Falmouth) rather than going to a venue that I don't particularly like in London. I'll see anyway.

I can't go. Is this the first time they've done Brixton?

You're getting a bit ahead of yourself there surely Laughing I think they'll be playing Brixton again for a few more tours before they'll be playing Ally Pally or Wobbley! But we'll get a vague idea of how popular they are with where the album charts on Sunday.

EDIT: I don't even think they've supported anyone at Brixton yet. I know that means nothing about their level of popularity, I'm just testing my memory. I'd be happy to be proven wrong though.

HA is a just over 5000 when its all standing, brixton is a shade below at around 4900 Wink (i think for one of our club things we organised at work last year - we got told we could sell 4800 tix)

brixton seems to have more of a history with bands than HA, HA also seems to be more favoured by bands with cult followings like bjork, neil young, brand new etc

be interested to see how the album charts, they were practically sold out at virgin near liv street this morning - it was one of the first albums you noticed when you walked in.

I've seen Belle & Seb there. *feels dirty at agreeing with Rob*

I think I've made my feelings about the new stuff/live act/cover art/egotistical bollocks pretty clear. So I won't say anything more.

Get the album yesterday.
So yeah, good one. Shake Shake is great (even with the scream on the chorus), and the Wont Let u Down/Turnaround/Obsession thing is just so great.Energy, great harmonies, and that BASS!!!
Must admit that I was a bit worried, but except Lost Boy (please Billy, stop singing like a Busted guy or something), it's a great album. Always Tomorrow is a good surprise!

I'm just disappointed that NightWatch isn't on it.
xx

It's 21 and 27 on the iTunes chart atm, but it's been top 15 the past few days.
