I just found a playlist titles 'Summer' in my music library. Itfeatures the likes of Ash, Idlewild, Death Cab, Arcade Fire, JoFo, Modest Mouse, LCD soundsystem, Turin Brakes, The Verve, Pavement and more bands with summery songs.It's about 4 hours long too. I think I'm sorted for the rest of the day!

Whilst waiting for my mate to pick me up for our roadtrip to Sheffield I've had a sudden urge to listen to Easyworld for the first time in aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaages. Kill The Last Romantic to be precise. This should album should be in the dictionary as the definition of beautiful.

Florence and the Machine - Bird Song
Having only heard the rehearsal and acapella versions for a year, it's amazing to finally be able to hear the finished product. Completely worth shedding out the extra few quid to get the deluxe edition of her album.

Continuing my recent trend of listening to stuff I haven't listened to in ages, I've been on a bit of an Editors bender for the last day and night and rememoring how they soundtracked my college years with The Back Room and a lot of my first/second year of uni with An End Has A Start.
Hopefully their new un out later in the year will soundtrack my final year of uni.
