What's the biggest venue the band could fill now?

I'm thinking.......... KOKO?

I'd like to be wrong, but I don't think they'd sell out KOKO. Plus on selfish note i hope they don't play there because it's an appalling venue where the drinks are far too expensive, even for london, and the sound in there is just bad and echoey. I've never been to a gig there that had any decent atmosphere, i'd be interested if anyone else has.

Unless I'm suffering a loss of memory, was the biggest headline gig in london the Astoria 2 (RIP) one? That holds about 1000, and KOKO is 1500. So that's a fairly big leap when they havn't even released anything since. Probably when the second album comes out they'll get there, plus they probably won't even tour till then anyway :P

Problem here is that there's a kinda big gap between small and bigger venues. Untill now BRS sold out pretty much all gigs, but the capacities were up to 700. If they'd take the next step, you have to go straight on to about 1500. Lately there have been some smaller venues trying to enlarge their capacities, but still it's a bit of a big step. I think they could sell it tho.

lovely venue

haha i just noticed the post above saying they didnt like it
there was a good atmosphere at an nba nme gig i went to but the london nba fans seem to be a bit violent and fiesty ha. cage the elephant supported before they were "famous" and also kong and kong always put on a good show. i like the theatricalness of the place ha

we dont like koko so that answers that. doesn't have any vibe and it sounds weird. only positive thing is that it looks cool.

i think the next london show is the o2 arena in january because we've made an album of radio friendly 80s throwback synth stuff so we're gonna be massive now and i'll finally get to buy a speedboat

Yep, save the drugs for when you're on the speedboat with the Russian models. Make sure at least one of them is topless. You'll be wanting to "keep it real" when the all the paparazzi show up.

Speedboats are fun. I've spent the last week on one. I want one, but sadly the one I've been on is worth £20k and with £40k of student debt there's no way I'll be having one any time soon.
